At 20:15 on April 25, 2026, the Long March-6 (LM-6) launch vehicle successfully delivered Pakistan's PRSC-EO3 satellite into its designated orbit, from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC). The one-rocket, one-satellite mission was a complete success. The satellite will provide critical remote sensing data support for Pakistan in multiple fields, including agricultural assessment, urban and rural planning, and environmental monitoring.
The LM-6 launch vehicle, developed under the lead of SAST, is a three-stage launch vehicle using cryogenic liquid propellant, capable of launching satellites to different orbits, and supporting both single-satellite and multi-satellite launches with one vehicle.

This mission marks the opening launch of SAST’s international complete launch service during the period of 15th Five-Year Plan. Against increasingly fierce competition in the sector, this mission took less than half a year from mission confirmation to completion, efficiently meeting a series of stringent technical requirements including low-inclination orbit and illumination constraints on the launch window, thereby earning high recognition from the Pakistani side. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. The complete success of this launch mission embodies the two sides’ efforts to advance practical cooperation and build a China-Pakistan community with a shared future, and will further promote the sustained development of the China-Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

Faced with the challenge of a shortened mission schedule, the project team carried out docking tests, data interpretations, status confirmation and other work strictly in accordance with launch site workflow. Adhering to the standards of zero-error and zero-omission, the team ensured stable vehicle status and smooth system coordination, and secured the complete success of the launch mission with extreme precision.

This launch marks the 15th flight of the LM-6 launch vehicle, the 265th flight test of Long March fleet developed under the lead of SAST, and the 640th flight of the Long March fleet.
