The 2^nd Venezuelan Remote Sensing Satellite (VSRR-2) was successfully launched in Jiu Quan Satellite Launch Center by SAST’s LM-2D on Oct 9th. And VRSS-2 was sent to designated orbit. 

VRSS-2 is the third joint research and development satellite by Chinese and Venezuela after No.1 Venezuela Communications Satellite and No.1 Venezuela Remote Sensing Satellite. VRSS-2 can provide  important information in natural resources perambulation, mapping, city layout, calamity inspection and management, environmental protection, crop evaluation, etc.
