LY-80 Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile Weapon System

LY-80 surface-to-air missile weapon system is a type of medium range air defense weapon, the system is mainly comprised by search radar vehicle (SV), guidance radar vehicle (GV), command vehicle (CV), missile firing vehicle (FV) and missile-in-tube (MIT). 

LY-80 SAM is used to intercept various aircrafts, cruise missiles (CM), air-to-ground missiles (AGM), UAVs and other air targets to provide area air protection for critical assets and ground troops.
