SAST-5000
Based on the modular design concept, SAST5000 adopts separated module design, and consists of a service module and a payload module. The main structure configuration of the platform combines central cylinder, truss and aluminum honey-comb panel for accommodating various large payloads, like optical remote sensing and microwave detection instruments, characterized by low center of mass, large earth-oriented area, small dynamic response, and good adaptability. the platform is versatile, flexible, expandable, and suitable for carrying large scale integrated payloads.
SAST5000 is a new generation of common satellite bus for GEO remote sensing satellites and also available for HEO satellites and MEO satellites.
