Long March-2D Launch Vehicle Successfully Launched

At 15:56 on June 14, 2025, the Long March-2D launch vehicle successfully deployed the electromagnetic monitoring satellite Zhangheng-1 02 into its designated orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This launch mission marks another complete success for the launch vehicle developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST).
To optimize the mechanical environment for the satellite, a composite material support cabin was adopted for this mission. This innovation further reduced the satellite's frequency response during flight, delivering enhanced safety and reliability throughout the launch profile.
Throughout the launch site operations, all test team members maintained a receptive mindset under the leadership of the chief commander and chief designer. Remaining focused and meticulous, the team members rigorously verified data and standardized operational procedures while executing tasks to the highest quality standards in strict accordance with the site's production assurance plan. This systematic execution ensured the mission's flawless outcome.
This launch represented the 99th mission of the Long March 2D launch vehicle, the 238th launch of SAST-developed Long March launch vehicle, and the 581th flight mission of the Long March series launch vehicle.
