The 12^th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as Zhuhai Airshow) will be held in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province from November 6 to November 11, 2018. China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition Center is located at Jichang Road, Jinwan District, Zhuhai City. The exhibits of Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) will be displayed in G1-2 Zone of Hall 7 together with the exhibits of the Group. The effective exhibition area in the hall is about 2,886 square meters, while the outdoor exhibition area is located on the front side of the rostrum of the opening ceremony, with an area of 2000 m² (50 m × 40 m).

The exhibits presented by SAST include FY-4 microwave satellite which belongs to meteorological satellites together with other FY satellites and GF-5 satellite launched on May 9 which is an environmental monitoring satellite of great significance to China’s ecological civilization construction. The new-concept exhibit is undoubtedly the Tianhe project. Based on Tianhe theory, the Tianhe project can carry out high-precision real-time monitoring of the water resources in the air through satellite networking, so as to guide the utilization of the water resources in the air by ground implementation systems in specific regions, increase the water resources in river source areas, and effectively alleviate the water shortage in the Yellow River and other basins. Other exhibits also include classic defense exhibits and so on.

Since 1996, the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology and the Zhuhai Airshow have been growing up together and have developed from the original single model R&D and exhibition to synchronous development in multiple areas and military-civilian integration. In particular, the annual growth rate of SAST in the 12^th Five-Year Plan period exceeded 20%, making it the backbone of national defense science and technology industry. Since the first airshow, the exhibits of SAST have increased geometrically and attracted a fast growing number of audiences and space fans at home and abroad. This not only witnesses the growth of SAST itself, but also demonstrates the exhibition richness, interaction with audiences and increasing international influence of the Zhuhai Airshow which provides a valuable window for defense science and technology enterprises like SAST.
