On June 2nd, the Long March 2D successfully delivered Gaofen 6 satellite into the scheduled orbit together with the scientific experimental satellite Luojia 01 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

The Long March 2D rockets are developed by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology. In this mission, the hybrid guidance mode of “secondary host segment perturbation + travel segment iteration” was adopted for the first time.
For the first time, the Rocket team adopted a launch site process within 15 effective working days. It hit two new records: the shortest effective working time and the least number of working staff entering the field.

The mission was the 276th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles, also the 98th flight test mission of the Long March series launch vehicle developed by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology.
