General Director of ESA visited SAST on April 13th 2017. President of SAST received the guests from ESA.

For a comprehensive display of SAST in the aerospace field and exploring possible areas of cooperation, SAST invited General Director of ESA to visit National Key Laboratory, docking mechanism, launch vehicle and satellite assembly plant. Both sides exchanged meteorological satellite, launch vehicle, docking mechanism and other products.  with China aerospace development. SAST was willing to take a more open attitude to cooperate with European countries in depth, president of SAST said. General Director of ESA said that he saw comprehensive strength in the aspects of launch vehicle, satellite, manned spacecraft and lunar exploration. Also SAST was an important base of china aerospace, and contributed to Chinese great progress. ESA would also look forward to more cooperation with SAST.
