Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology participated in the construction! President Xi Jinping personally announced that Sino-Russian East Line Natural Gas Pipeline was put into production and ventilated
President Xi Jinping had video chats with Putin, President of Russia in Beijing on December 2, to jointly witness the Production and Ventilation Ceremony of Sino-Russian East Line Natural Gas Pipeline.
Xi Jinping pointed out that, participating units of the two countries have had close cooperation over 5 years, worked hard to complete construction tasks at a high level with high quality, and showed exquisite skills of craftsmen in a great power as well as fruitful achievements in Sino-Russian cooperation to the world.
Sino-Russian East Line Natural Gas Pipeline Engineering is indeed a “top project” and “an order of the century”. In the next 30 years, Russia will supply 1 trillionm3 natural gas to China. Space technologies and products will also make contributions in the major project. Gas pressure regulating system productsproduced by Shanghai Fiorentini Company that is affiliated to Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology are one of the representatives.
In the last ten-days of June 2019, gas pressure regulating system products of Shanghai Fiorentini Company passed the strict acceptance test of 7 Russian experts.

This big product is 15m in length, 9m in height and 4m in width, and was transported to Heihe Port by highway as the first-batch product, and then transported to Svobodny, Amur Oblast, Russia, and given full play at Amur Oblast Gas Processing Plant undertaken by China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation.

Amur Oblast Gas Processing Plant is the world’s biggestgas processing plant project, and also the key project in Sino-Russian East Line Natural Gas Pipeline Project. It is undertaken by NIPIgas, a famous engineering company in Russia, and covers an area equivalent to 20 football fields. In April 2017, China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation and NIPIgas signed EPC general contract for Amur Oblast Gas Processing Plant Project Section II (Totally three sections), and the contract amount is USD 2.52 billion.
Gas pressure regulating system is thekey device for gas processing plant project. Shanghai Fiorentini Company passed the bid invitation of PetroChina and the factory inspection of Russia, and got the product contract for gas pressure regulating system (above RMB 100 million).
To supply gas pressure regulating system products to Amur Oblast Gas Processing Plant Project, it shall not only pass the ASME certification of the United States, but also the GOST Russian standard computing and test, EAC customs alliance certification and other series of strict certifications. Since the project is located at a seismic belt and alpine region, the product shall meet Level 8 anti-seismic standard, and can operate normally under -52℃.

Under -52℃environment, many conventional material chemical components and mechanical performance cannot meet requirements, which indicate that tens of material products should be redeveloped, including some valve products. They are requested to withstand the high temperature of 350℃, while being subject to hard sealing, and realizing zero emission under Russian standard. The project team of Shanghai Fiorentini Company selected 386 gas pressure regulating device products, reinvestigated 1,092 suppliers, and finally provided qualified products to meet project demands.
Shanghai Fiorentini Company has completed the delivery of 6 equipment for the former two phases, and 2 equipment in Phase III will be delivered recently.
